What is the weather like in Cancun from July 4 to July 11?

My family and I are going to Cancun from July 4th to July 11th and I heard that it will be raining. Will it be raining like the whole day or just for 30 minutes or so? I expected it would be burning hot. What do the temperatures range to? :P I thought July would be the perfect month for a vacation. Do you think that the rain will be continuous and nonstop? Please tell me as soon as possible! I really need to know. Thank you! (:
