How is chapter one in my story?

The whole story is about a vampire and human who fall in love after a vampire/demon hybrid made a deal with the vampire.Here is the first chapter of my book...It was August 17th the first day of Junior Year for Kaylee Tanner.Kaylee was in high school,she was 17 and she had brown hair,blue eyes,skinny and tall and she was really tan.It was Junior year for kaylee and she was so excited."Kaylee its time to get ready for school,its your first day of junior year,so get up and get ready for school,then you can come downstairs and the maid will make you something for breakfast."her dad called"Kaylee slipped on her favorite outfit, fixed her hair and applied makeup on her face. Then she grabbed her school supplies and headed downstairs for breakfast.".Kaylee grabbed a pancake and a glass of orange juice and she ate as fast as she could so she could get to school early so she could meet up with her friends before school started.As soon as Kaylee was done with her breakfast,she drove to school.When Kaylee got to school she met up with her best friends,Lauren and Emily."Hey,Kaylee how was your summer?"both of her friends said together."My Summer was great thanks for asking."Kaylee said.Kaylee and her friends finished their conversation and then kaylee went to talk to her boyfriend."Hey,Kaylee I missed you this summer,and by the way how was your summer?"Peter said."I missed you too and my summer was great thanks for asking and how was yours?"Kaylee said."My summer was great but it wasn't amazing because you weren't with me"Peter Said."Thats good and that means alot to me and my summer wasn't amazing without you either and i am so lucky and happy to be with someone as great as you."Kaylee Said."That means so much to me too and i am so lucky and happy to be with someone as great as you too."Peter Said."You are so sweet."Kaylee Said."We can continue this conversation later at the football game,ok?."Peter Said."Sure."Kaylee said."Ok,kaylee love you and see you later."Peter said."I love you too and see you later."Kaylee Said.After Peter left the bell rang for first period class.
