Hi, as anyone driven from Miami FL to Helen GA ?

I want to rent a cabin up there on the mountains .if anyone has done it please tell me if you stay to sleep somewhere half way "if yes were?" or did you drive straight to Helen GA nonstop ? I think is going to take me like 14 hours so i was thinking about driving for 7 hours then sleep then the next day do the rest 7 hours.any advice would be really appreciated .thank you so much in advance.
