Is it legal to for an parent to lock the refridgertor and freezer from their kids?

i was just wondering in the state of minnesota is it legal for your parents to lock the fridge and frezzer and just make u eat bead and water? cause thats what my asshole of an dad is doing, also could you call the cops for yourparents nonstop yelling and verbally abusing you?
